HERB ALPERT

HERB ALPERT SIGNATURE SERIES CDS

When Herb Alpert decided to reissue his albums on CD, he teamed with former A&M Records employee Bob Emmer and the Shout! Factory team. Each album has been remastered by the original A&M sound and mastering engineers, Larry Levine and Bernie Grundman. Herb oversaw the creation of each disc--in sight and sound. In addition to resequencing the discs and re-recording some trumpet tracks, he added personal liner notes and photos.

HERB ALPERT: VIBRATO GRILL & JAZZ

Herb's restaurant is located at 2930 Beverly Glen Circle, Bel Air, CA, telephone 310-474-9400. He serves up a nightly mix of American cuisine in a setting graced with fine acoustics and Alpert's original paintings and sculpture and invites some of the finest musicians to perform. Daughter Eden Alpert told an interviewer that Herb personally oversees many of the aspects of the restaurant. Former Tijuana Brass bassist Pat Senatore is the musical director and often performs with friends. Find out who will be playing at Vibrato's Performance Calendar.
