RECORDING NOTES	Recording Dates: July 7 to August 9, 1980 Release Date: October 1, 1980 Zenyatta was the biggest selling album in Britain in 1980. Zenyatta had initial orders of 250,000 copies in the US. 900,000 copies shipped within three months of release. Total sales over two million in the US and 5 million worldwide.

TOUR	From October 1980 to October 1981 the Police gave 80 concerts. From October, they played North America. In December they toured Argentina and Britain. In January 1981, they played the US and the Japan into early February. New Zealand, Australia and Venezuela followed through July. In September, they began another tour of Britain and Europe.
