A&M RECORDS
ADVERTISING & MARKETING 1974-1975

A&M Records created over 2,000 advertisements that appeared in music trade publications like Billboard, Cash Box, Rolling Stone and Record World. The ads offer a unique look at A&M's company identity and history as they show the path of a promotional campaign for an album or single.
The ads often used art that was never used on the album cover, single sleeve, press kits, or other promotional pieces.
The ads themselves are collectable--they were never reissued or bootlegged and originals were often discarded which increases the rarity of the pieces.
In A&M: Advertising & Marketing the ads are arranged chronologically and singles are usually placed with their albums.
