In 1985. the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) in Great Britain discussed banning the soundtrack for 2010 because of the track with Richard Strauss' Also Spruce Zarathustra arranged by Andy Smmers of The Police. The music was in the public domain but the Strauss' heirs disapproved of the use of all Strauss' work except performed as he intended. The British copies of the vinyl album can be found that have a paper label over that track's information with the agreed upon credit.
