David Lasley

Best known as a background singer and songwriter. 

At one time, David Lasley's  voice was on 13 of the top 25 Billboard Hot 100 singles. He was one of the busiest session singers.

He also appeared on jingles, on and off Broadway, and toured as one of James Taylor's background singers for 40 years. 

David joined Almo-Irving Music around 1980-81 as a staff songwriter. It was there he released his first album, Demos, of his own songs. His A&M Records connections were working with Herb Alpert and Burt Bacharach.
