MASTERS FILM MUSIC

The soundtracks for The Boys From Brazil (composed by Jerry Goldsmith) and The Wild Geese (composed by Roy Budd) were originally issued as vinyl albums by A&M Records in 1978. When the soundtracks were reissued on CD, it was through Masters Film Music and its Special Release Series. The album covers of the CDs used the vinyl album artwork and retained the A&M Records logo.

Masters Film Music was founded in 1985 by Robert Townson who specialized in producing film music. Townson had working relationships with many film music composers which made Masters Film Music a natural fit to convert and restore the original recordings for reissue on CD.
