Chris Stamey

Chris Stamey's debut album for A&M Records It's Alright sold about 18,000 copies in the first few weeks of release. The album was the first in A&M's distribution, marketing, promotion and publicity agreement with TwinTone Records. It was worked through A&M's special products department. Special products got A&M's people familiarly with Stamey and the album was promoted with a tour, video, and a tin cake pan with the slogan "Nobody Doesn't Like Cara Lee" ("Cara Lee" was the first single) and filled with an artist bio and cassette.
