Raes

The Raes were a Canadian husband and wife team. Their success came in Canada with their television show, "The Raes' Variety Hour." Musically, they were nominated for two Juno Awards, and had a dance hit in Canada with "A Little Lovin' (Keeps the Doctor Away)." In 1980 the Raes broke up.

A&M Canada promoted the song while A&M in the U.S. passed on it. Meanwhile at Arista Records, Clive Davis got another hit song after hearing it by an A&M artist.
