The group was headed by Tony Camillo who produced the hit "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight and the Pips. Camillo also produced The Persuasions during their time on A&M.

The single "Dynomite" was the best-selling single in Italy in 1975, staying in the Top 20 for two months. In the U.S., the single sold more than 150,000 copies in the R&B market before crossing over to popular radio. In Canada, it was the first single A&M released as Disco Special.
